Do you ever worry that we’re loosing proper respect for the institution of marriage? I do. And every time someone comes up with a yet stupider way to do the ceremony for this blessed event, I worry about it a little more.
Case in point, a recent matrimonial ceremony in Tokyo was conducted by a (wait for it) robot. To quote the Associated Press article I found on the CBS News website:
"The nuptials at this ceremony were led by ‘I-Fairy,’ a 4-foot tall seated robot with flashing eyes and plastic pigtails. Sunday’s wedding was the first time a marriage had been led by a robot, according to manufacturer Kokoro Co."
